I bet you thought I was done posting about my European vacation last year, well, I'm not.
I took a bit of a hiatus, but I'm back to share my absolute favorite destination from our trip,
Burano Italy.

(Yes, this tower is really leaning like that)

Burano is a Venitian island right off the coast of, well, Venice.

While in Venice, we took a water taxi over to the vibrant fishing island well known for it's brightly colored homes to have lunch and to do some shopping.

The village is also well known for it's lace garments, which I bought a few of.
(I couldn't resist!)

We were greeted by vibrant buildings, bridges, and vibrant people.
It helped that it was absolutely gorgeous out that day.

There were not many tourists on the island, we almost had the whole thing to ourselves.
It felt as if we stumbled upon a hidden gem in the Venetian Lagoon.

Of course I didn't mind, it meant I was able to snap some great photos.

These photos are absolutely true to color,
and I mean it when I say it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
